We Wrote Travis Kelce’s Resume. He Is Overqualified for Every Job on It.

Tight end. Podcast host. Beer co-owner. Game show host. Actor. SNL host. Festival founder. Three-time Super Bowl champion. We put it all on one page and sent it to the hiring committee.

Travis Kelce is 37 years old, in his 14th NFL season, and still catching touchdowns for a Kansas City team that has not lost a game. He is also, at the same time, a podcast host, a beer brand owner, a former game show host and an actor with a credit for playing a waiter. At some point the normal way of describing him stopped working, so we tried the format everybody understands.

Below is his resume, written out in full. Every line is real and on the record. The recruiter notes and the interview scorecard are ours.

Education
University of Cincinnati, 2008 to 2012. Final season: 45 catches, 722 yards, eight touchdowns.
Personal
Grew up in Cleveland Heights, Ohio. Married Taylor Swift in July 2026. Spent the bye week watching the Guardians.

Notes From the Hiring Committee

Recruiter note 1
He listed “Not retiring” as a skill. Given that he is 37 with 20 catches for 299 yards through five games, it might be his best one.
Recruiter note 2
Candidate holds the Chiefs’ career records for catches, receiving yards and receiving touchdowns, all of which used to belong to Tony Gonzalez. Please do not mention this to Tony Gonzalez.
Recruiter note 3
Applicant spent his bye week at Progressive Field watching the Guardians finish a comeback against the White Sox. The hiring committee respects the commitment to Cleveland.
Recruiter note 4
Three networks are reportedly interested in him for TV whenever he stops playing. Per the report, that is speculation on a podcast, not an offer. He is, again, on a podcast himself.

The Interview

Interview scorecard, Kansas City hiring committee

Twenty catches for 299 yards and two touchdowns in five games, on a team that has not lost.

Five Super Bowl appearances. Three rings. The postseason receptions record.
Work-life balance

Fourteen seasons in one building, and the franchise records to prove it.
Decision: Hire. He already works here. Signed through 2028.

The Football Part, Since That Is Still the Day Job

The football partNumbers
2026, five games (Week 5 bye)20 catches, 299 yards, 2 touchdowns
Best 2026 gameWeek 3 at Miami: two catches, 59 yards, a late touchdown in a 24-10 win
Most recentSunday vs the Chargers: four catches, 53 yards, a taped ankle and a 22-6 win
Career, by our count1,100 catches and 13,301 receiving yards
202576 catches, 851 yards, five touchdowns; the Chiefs went 6-11 and missed the playoffs

Before the season there were questions about whether Kelce had anything left. Through three games he had 14 catches for 231 yards and two touchdowns, and ClutchPoints wrote that he had beaten the “washed” allegations after a late touchdown sealed a win in Miami. Week 4 was quieter, two catches for 15 yards in a win over the Raiders. Then came the bye, then a 22-6 win over the Chargers on Sunday in which he tweaked his ankle, got it taped and kept playing. He said afterward he would be sore and fine. Kansas City goes to Seattle next Sunday night.

The Bottom Line

Most players spend their careers trying to hold one job. Travis Kelce has a Hall of Fame tight end career, a podcast, a beer brand, a game show, two acting credits, an SNL hosting gig and a music festival, and he is still catching touchdowns at 37 for a Chiefs team that is 5-0. The resume is ridiculous. The hiring committee approves it anyway.

If he is on your shortlist too, the Travis Kelce shirt in Planet Euphoria’s Kelce design collection is original hand-drawn art, not a name-and-number print. It is hand-printed to order in Schenectady, New York and numbered out of 500, which is a shorter run than Kelce’s list of side jobs.

An entertainment piece. The resume format, recruiter notes, interview ratings and hiring decision are invented for fun. Every fact on the resume is real and was checked October 19, 2026, against his published record, Yahoo Sports, Athlon Sports, ClutchPoints, NBC Sports and Men’s Journal. His 2026 line is the sum of his verified weekly lines, and his career totals add those weeks to his published career line through Week 2. Reports of television interest are speculation, not offers.
